Leadership and Participatory Governance
Participatory Governance is a core component of resilience in health systems and functional service delivery departments in Kakamega county. Girls to Women Organization is a member of CSOs (non-state actors) that plays a critical role in contributing to improved system responsiveness to the community expectation on health governance to upscale important aspects including evidence-based policy making. Transparency and accountability are also our core mandate.
The Organization engages the Right Holders, local duty bearers, County Government and any other Higher Stake holders in Policy and Decision-making processes. The organization will champion to see to it that girls and women are on the top level of leadership.

Services
Mentorship and ASRH/SGBV prevention program
Adolescents and Youths require utmost good health aspects including Mental Health. Girls to Women (GtoW) is at the forefront of promoting Gender Equality through community led Advocacy Mechanism to prevent and respond to SGBV/GBV in rural areas of Kakamega
This program allows girls and women to explore different opportunities and spaces that will ignite their dreams and bring them back to life. We are delighted to transform girls and women for them to inspire others in the society as a whole because we believe they can rise beyond their horizon.
Mentorship program prepares their dignity and respect in the society through advocacy and community awareness sessions on sexual reproductive health risks including teenage pregnancies, HIV infections, Mental health issues and cancer awareness among many more other health related issues.
With commitment to realization of a reduction or zero cases of teenage pregnancies and health distress among women, girls through safe spaces creation in the community and one on one conversations that have good strategic approaches to girls and women who have been affected either directly or indirectly.
